Benjamin King, originally from Cleveland, OH has worked for corporations including GE Lighting, CSA-International, Cres Cor and Bosch Home Appliances.   He has spearheaded several rapid prototype projects leading to new products and consumer use cases, created assumption based business models that have led to M&A activity, development strategies to engage non-traditional partners (including start-ups) and worked with global responsibility to push/pull innovation. This activity has given Benjamin the opportunity to build relations with some of the most innovative companies, laboratories and start-ups.

Most recently, Benjamin created and lead the North America innovation department within Bosch Home Appliances (BSH, North America) and served as a Global Manager of Innovation for BSH Hausgeraete GmbH in Munich, Germany.  He received multiple formal “Innovation Award for Excellence” from their Parent Company, Robert Bosch, holds several patents and participated in a global think tank aimed at changing the direction of a $13B company to ensure future viability.   

Today, Benjamin is in the process of starting a corporation while engaging with companies that seek to build upon their innovation strategies. Benjamin also serves as an advisor to the Board of Lumos.
