Before forming Stansbury Weaver, Ltd., Mark founded The Stansbury Law Firm to work with high-energy, high-growth companies across all stages of the business cycle. His practice focused on corporate, tax and securities law, advising on the best entity for a new business, coordinating angel financing and private placements, and structuring mergers and acquisitions deals.
Prior to founding The Stansbury Law Firm, Mark worked at a mid-sized firm in Columbus, Ohio. Mark holds a finance degree from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. He graduated cum laude from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
Mark is a member of the Columbus Bar Association and the American Bar Association, where he is involved in the section of Business, Tax and Litigation. He previously served as chairman of the Notary Public Committee of Franklin County, and technology chair of the American Bar Association's Subcommittee on Civil Rights Litigation.
